Som Raya~ (AKA- ‘Thai Firestorm’). The name means “Orange Necklace” in the Thai language. Another AKA is Shooting Star.
She produces wide-open, orange (with some gold), 3.5″-4″ flowers with very separated petals. With full sized blooms, the petals tend to curly cue underneath as you can see in the picture of the flowers resting on my hand. In the heat of summer, a wonderful red and pinkish coloration can appear as deep veins and/or borders on the petals, intensifying the already lovely colors. Topping off the beautiful colors of the blooms is a strong, sweet, citrus scent. ROOTED Plants–NOT Grafted–13″-16″ from the soil line.
