Star of Bethlehem is a brand new USA Release for 2026 from the well known and respected plumeria hybridizer, Dr. Kukiat Tanteeratarm of Thailand. ‘Star of Bethlehem‘ produces gorgeous flowers of white with an eye catching red stripe down the center of each petal. This is extremely unique for a Plumeria obtusa variety. Blooms are 3” in size with a lovely, spicy scent. Flowers are produced on a compact inflorescence. Leaves are smaller than a standard sized plumeria and, keeping with its Plumeria obtusa heritage, they are deeper green and glossy. Being this is a semi-dwarf plant, it is perfect for a container on a sunny patio or deck. It should not get any taller than 6 feet, more like 5 feet, if kept in a pot. This beauty is a seedling of an unnamed dwarf (most likely Dwarf Singapore Pink or Dwarf Richard Criley). ROOTED Plants, NOT Grafted. 13″-16″ tall, measured from the soil line.
